From September 5 to 10, the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2025, Europe’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, took place in Berlin, Germany. For the first time, pet appliances were granted an independent award category at this year’s event. Three products from Chinese brands won innovation awards, marking international recognition of China’s pet appliance technology.
Technological Breakthrough in Cleaning Products Dreame Technology launched its pet air purifier FP10, featuring an innovative dynamic roller hair collection and self-cleaning system that addresses the pain point of traditional purifiers being easily clogged by hair. Paired with a multi-layer filtration system to precisely filter dander allergens, the product won the IFA Best Design Special Honor Award. On-site, it secured contracts with 12 European distributors and plans to enter the European market in Q4.
Lightweight Innovation in Wearable Devices SATELLAI (StarLink Future) introduced the lightweight smart collar SATELLAI Collar Go at the exhibition. Weighing only as much as five A4 sheets, it is suitable for small dogs and cats. Equipped with a built-in multi-sensor system to monitor health data such as heart rate and body temperature, it sends immediate alerts when the pet leaves a safe area. The collar is planned to launch simultaneously in Europe and the U.S. in Q4.
Two-Way Breakthrough in Human-Pet Interaction GlocalMe, under Ucloudlink Group, released the world’s first pet smartphone, PetPhone. Equipped with a multi-mode positioning system and AI behavior recognition technology, it supports real-time positioning and two-way calls in high-mobility scenarios, allowing pets to actively “call the owner” through trained actions. Its built-in AI voice interaction module can respond to pet barks and play soothing music. The product won the official IFA “Innovation Glory Award,” becoming the biggest dark horse of the exhibition.
