November: Guangzhou Great Wall Pet Show Kicks Off, Full-Industry-Chain Intelligent Upgrade Takes Center Stage

From November 13 to 16, the 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025) was held in Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Under the theme “INFINITY,” the event brought together over 1,200 high-quality exhibitors, 80% of whom possess integrated R&D and manufacturing capabilities. As a core sector, pet appliances demonstrated distinct characteristics of full-industry-chain intelligent upgrade.

Further Breakthroughs in Health Monitoring Technology At the exhibition, multiple companies unveiled new-generation AI diagnostic devices. Shanghai Beixinchong Technology’s upgraded Pet Doctor AI Diagnostic Assistant V2 added a blood testing module, enabling rapid screening of routine blood indicators via fingertip blood and generating a test report with health recommendations within 15 minutes. It secured purchase intentions from over 120 pet hospitals on-site. Smart wearable devices also achieved functional integration: a brand’s four-mode positioning smart collar integrates GPS, WiFi, base station, and Bluetooth technologies, achieving indoor and outdoor positioning accuracy within 5 meters. Using AI algorithms to identify abnormal behaviors like excessive licking, it builds a comprehensive health profile for pets.

Precise and Efficient Cross-Border Matchmaking Concurrent with the exhibition, the 4th Global Pet E-Commerce Conference and the CIPS & Yuguo Cross-Border Pet Category Seminar were held, focusing on cross-border product selection and localized operations. Among professional visitors from 165 countries and regions, buyers from emerging markets such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia saw a significant increase in proportion, showing strong demand for cost-effective products like smart feeders and automatic litter boxes. The B2B trade matchmaking session, through a pre-exhibition online mutual selection mechanism, enabled precise negotiations between buyers and exhibitors, with transactions of pet smart devices accounting for 38% of the total cross-border trade volume. Intelligent Extension of Service Scenarios Smart devices for service scenarios like pet grooming and boarding emerged as new highlights. An enterprise launched an AI smart grooming table, which can identify pet body types via a camera and automatically adjust height, paired with a temperature-controlled drying blower for constant-temperature drying—greatly improving grooming efficiency. A smart cage system exclusively for boarding institutions also made its debut, supporting multi-device linkage to synchronously record pet diet, defecation, and activity data, pushing updates to the owner’s mobile phone in real-time to address information asymmetry during boarding.
